In a previous life, I’ve worked at 3 out of the 5 big publishing houses, earned a M.S. in Publishing at NYU, threw parties at a senior community, commenced dozens of weddings as first mate on a floating chapel, evicted college students, scooped ice cream, was a writer in various forms, and earned all 5 stars on my apron at a certain roadside chain restaurant.
